UOI
The students commenced their 2nd line of inquiry, ‘Reasons for Celebration’ where in the they conducted a survey in the school to find out which are the most widely celebrated amongst teachers. To further strengthen their knowledge, students represented this data through a pictograph and pasted pictures of celebrations to understand the most celebrated ones amongst teachers.
Maths was integrated with UOI where in the students attempted a formative assessment by creating a Venn diagram to find out the differences and similarities between celebrations.

Students associated quantity with number numerals 4, 5, 6 with different manipulatives and materials and later wrote number1 in their process journal. They illustrated the quantity for the same.
Students collected various kind of natural objects like dry leaves, twigs during the nature walk. Later they counted the number of items and associated it with the quantity.

The students were introduced to the sound ‘o’ through various picture cards and also traced the letter on slates. Recapitulation of letter ‘a’ was done and students sorted picture cards of letter ‘a’ and ‘o’ ,they also associated them with the respective objects. Practice of pattern writing in the process journal was under taken too.

Hindi
Naming of colours in hindi was undertaken. To further enhance their listening skills, rhyme ‘barish aaye cham-cham’ was sung and story ‘blue jackal’ was narrated in the class.

Combination of exercise like crawling, jumping and hopping to improve loco motor skills were carried out to music (with steady beats) along with a dance routine. Students were also introduced to meditation techniques in the class.

Physical Education.- To make them better sports persons, the students are understanding the role of discipline by moving in a straight line, following commands, proper seating and standing during class time.
